The summerhouse was gorgeous and the breakfast was lovely. We sat outside all evening with Thomas the ginger cat listening to the donkeys and emus. It was such a relaxing 24 hours.
The photos don't make it clear that the loo is in a separate building. Only a few steps away but on a rainy evening it was a pain.

So much attention to detail inside the property. So quaint with so much character. We liked the separate shower.
We really appreciated being surrounded by nature and in particular the variety of animals. Sarie was very welcoming and friendly - she was happy to introduce us to the animals and then respected our privacy with the assurance she was on call if we needed anything.
We liked everything.

The summer house is on a farm with lots of lovely animals. This one in particular neighbours a peacock! It’s very relaxing, and the owners/hosts are super down to earth and lovely. They leave you to it, but also they’re around to show you around, feed the animals etc.
They provide everything you need for a kettle and toaster including jams, marmalade, tea, coffee milk and bread for breakfast. You also get a pack of pastries which are high quality.
It’s super safe, peaceful and in a great location if you’re wanting to visit near places like Matlock / Heights of Abraham in just a short drive.
