The apartment is very roomy while still having a nice cosy cottage feel. It's on a farm so we enjoyed seeing the sheep in the field. We liked the art on the walls. The heating worked to warm up the place very quickly in the morning when it was a bit nippy. It wasn't far to drive to get shopping or petrol, and there was an excellent pub/restaurant (Blacksmith's Arms) just a quarter-hour drive away. Anthony gave very sound advice on which way to drive.
The grill in the oven didn't work, but everything else was great. You can still toast in an oven quite easily and melt cheese, and there was a toaster as well.

Very comfortable beds and lounge furniture. Great location with lots to do nearby. The dogs and our children loved the secure garden

Comfy bed, large rooms, Good sized TV.
Could have been advised how far away from shops the farm was.
Would have been nice to have a bottle of milk on arrival.
Decorating needs a spruce up , bedding was clean but old.
Kitchen flooring ripped, not nice to walk on with bare feet.
