Reviews don`t reflect reality - Apparently ``You only paid €50” means accepting anything.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the possibility of early check-in. This is honestly the only reason I am not giving an even lower rating.
Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing.
We booked this apartment last minute for a family weekend in Dhermi, after our usual accommodation in Dhermi had no availability and anyone who regularly visits Dhërmi knows how difficult it is to find decent accommodation at the last minute, especially on a summer weekend. We chose it because of the distance and the convenient road access and, most importantly, because of the reviews. Unfortunately, after staying here, those reviews did not feel transparent or representative of the actual experience.
The apartment is located in an isolated area with practically no facilities nearby. The building and the surrounding area look like an open construction site.
Low prices never justify poor hygiene, uncomfortable beds or disrespectful communication. The early check-in was appreciated, but it cannot compensate for the overall experience. At first glance, the apartment looks acceptable for a short stay, but the problems became obvious as soon as we started using it.
I would not stay here again and I cannot recommend this apartment, especially for families with children.
After a long day at the beach, we found that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned or sanitised. Before letting our children use the shower, we had to clean and disinfect it ourselves.
The towels were yellowed and visibly worn. The kitchen dishes had dried food and burnt residue from previous guests, so we had to wash and sanitise everything before using it.
The sofa that was supposed to be the children's bed was dirty, worn out and so uncomfortable that you could immediately feel the hard wooden boards underneath. We covered it completely with two bedsheets just to make it usable, but our son still had to sleep on the only small section that felt slightly softer.
The double bed was no better. The mattress was old, uneven and full of bumps, resting on wooden boards instead of a proper bed base. None of us slept properly.
There is only one air conditioner in the living room, the bedrooms remain hot during the night unless you use fans.
The most disappointing part was the attitude towards feedback.
At check-out, I politely explained that the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and suggested adding a simple mattress topper or a memory foam layer on the sofa to improve future guests' experience.
The response I received was:
"You only paid €50. Go somewhere else."
Yes, but I still paid €50 for one sleepless night in accommodation that should have been clean, hygienic and comfortable, regardless of the price.
After we had already left, I received photos of the kitchen bin, the disposable table cover I had gathered after breakfast, a cooking pot and towels left on the bathroom fixtures, implying that I had somehow failed to clean the apartment.

Guests pay for accommodation that is clean, hygienic and comfortable, enjoy their stay, take their belongings and leave. They are not responsible for preparing the apartment for the next guests.
