The host was very easy to communicate with, and easily offered suggestions regarding grocery, and organized additional parking needed. The front part of the apartment is charming and comfortable, with good space for rest and relaxation, both outside (ample garden) and inside. The two bathrooms are comfortable for 2 families rental.
The listing is not transparent about the fact that 2 out of the 3 bedrooms are in a basement - type situation. What is worse (and unfortunately I would not rent again because of this) both back bedrooms do not have a safe egress. The children's bedroom window can properly open however the egress is blocked by the upstairs apartment external stairs which are in cement - so effectively anyone would be trapped in case of fire or emergency. The very back bedroom has a very small opening behind the window, which would not allow any adult to get out in case of emergency, and the egress in any case is blocked by a structure of glass and iron on top. Besides this, the listing does not explain that only one parking spot is available, and additional parking comes at a daily fee (not a problem, but it should be clear). Finally, the kitchen area (although spacious and well equipped) has a significant issue with ants and needs professional treatment - ok it's adjacent to garden, but a professional treatment would keep the sanitary situation under control.
