The property was lovely and had spectacular views overlooking the Douro and countryside
It was off the beaten track and very quiet
The facilities were exceptional and the swimming pool was lovely

A quiet spot on the hillside. Nice view from the window. Very clean and cozy. Swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen. Good supermarket in the nearest town.
A slightly clearer explanation of the check-in process. More visible signs pointing to the house. The hosts don't speak English, but they are very sweet and friendly. We got some help from our neighbors with translation:)

Optimas vistas para o Douro. Sitio perfeito para relaxar.
Muita simpatia durante toda a estadia.
O Bingo fartou-se de pedir festas, é um excelente anfitrião.
Dado o remoto do sítio, muita gente opta por jantar algum snack que traz consigo. A cozinha é equipada e tem bastantes mesas no interior mas é pena que no terraço exterior não haja mais mesas (há bastantes cadeiras) para aproveitar as noites quentes de Verão.
