Cigarette smell. Sag sofa bed. leaking toilet.

The apartment looks very good in the photos, and the description creates the same impression. However, it does not mention that the property is located on a very steep slope, which was quite challenging for us as we were travelling with a stroller, two young children, and two elderly adults. It was also difficult to find a suitable place for taxis to stop for pick-up and drop-off. Regarding the apartment itself, despite the advertised no-smoking policy, there was a strong smell of tobacco/cigarettes throughout the property. We left the windows open for extended periods, but the odour remained. Eventually, even our clothes absorbed the smell. One of the toilets was leaking water from the base, which appeared to be wastewater. The sofa bed is not particularly suitable for two people, especially for longer stays, as it sags noticeably in the middle and is uncomfortable to sleep on. Unlike most rental apartments, guests are required to meet a representative in person to gain access to the property and provide a €200 cash deposit. We did not have an issue with the deposit itself, but the process was inconvenient. We had to wait approximately 40 minutes outside on the street with our luggage and children before the representative arrived to hand over the keys and collect the deposit. The deposit was returned at check-out by the same person, which also required arranging a specific meeting time in advance.

Comfortable apartment in Madrid!

The apartment was nice, it was comfortable and very clean.

Adding rods and hangers to hang towels and clothes in the bathrooms and bedrooms would improve this apartment. Also, drying clothes was an issue in this apartment. It doesn’t have a balcony so drying will take a long time. I imagine a lot of apartments in Madrid are like this. I just wish there was a better option than trying to dry clothes inside the apartment in a drying rack.

Todo muy bien

Patiko labai tvarkingas butas. Balti nauji rankšluosčiai. Vonios reikmenys.
