Racist, do not waste your money

Nothing since the host refused to let us in event the property was already paid for

Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing. We booked the apartment for our family, but upon arrival late at night, the host refused to let us check in because we were traveling with our two children. The Booking.com portal did not allow us to add the children, even though the apartment's stated capacity is four guests. The host claimed she could not accommodate us because she "didn't have enough sheets," which made little sense given the apartment's advertised capacity. We even offered to pay any additional fees, but no solution was considered. Throughout our travels in Italy, every other host we encountered was willing to find a reasonable solution in similar situations. What made the experience even more upsetting was the way we were treated. After seeing us, the host began speaking in Italian with another person, and based on their behavior and tone toward us, we felt we were being treated differently and unfairly. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Despite refusing to accommodate us, the host also refused to provide any refund. Because this happened late at night, there were no other available accommodations in the area, leaving us with no choice but to have our young children sleep in the car. It was an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience that no family should have to go through. I cannot recommend this property. A host should communicate clearly, treat guests with respect, and make a genuine effort to resolve issues rather than leaving a family stranded in the middle of the night.
