Elegant two room loft in historic downtown Excelsior Springs.

This is a beautiful place to stay right in the downtown area. It was just a couple blocks from the wine festival we were attending. The furniture & bathroom fixtures are gorgeous! This was my first VRBO experience and it was so easy. Check in and out was simple & the instructions on how to operate everything were easy to understand. The stairs to get up to it are outside but very sturdy metal & a good handrail. Very nice place!

The location was amazing right downtown, near shops and restaurants. Lovely building. Parking around the corner, so we dropped off luggage in the alley and one of us parked car. Outdoor stairs so use care in inclement weather. It was storming when we left fortunately I planned ahead and we only brought in backpacks so we didn't have to set anything down. The interior and exterior of the building were amazing. Elegant furniture. The ceiling in bathroom looked like it might need repair. The soaking tub and glass shower were stately.. but The handheld shower seemed to lack water pressure and didn't have a very long reach to get soap washed off. Oak floors lovely, however, there is oak in the bath and shower area that you must be diligent not to get wet. I would suggest having an extra towel just for that event. Four poster beds we're beautiful. The air conditioning in the ceiling of the living room had an occasional drip of condensation. We weren't sure how to turn off the television completely. It just stayed the screensaver which was beautiful of a painting. But if anyone wants total blackout that would be an issue. It did serve as a nice night light for us. We booked for three guests and only two sets of bath linens were provided. Since we got in late after visiting with relatives, we didn't know about this until it was too late to make a request, but fortunately we were prepared. We do plan to stay again if it's available when we're in town.
