Not all is as it is adverised

The pool, the staff, shade from a large tree, visible wildlife, nice fridge

The quality of the accommodation, more shabby than chic, more funky than functional. A converted sea can, can, be very desirable this particular conversion was not. A limited amount of imagination and skill was employed in the process, Treadle sewing machine legs with recycled dunnage boards from car manufacturing parts are unappealing,inadequate and perhaps unhygienic as kitchen counters. No hot water at the kitchen sink for dishwashing but there was a plastic jug I could fill from the shower head. An apparently 'retro' style single element hot plate didn't exactly promote gourmet meals more pot noodles in a pinch. Clothing storage consisted of an over the door set of hooks with a couple of hangers and two underbed rollaway drawer thing's, management kindly provided shelves upon request. No towel racks in bathroom and nowhere on the exterior to hang wet swimsuits and towels. Speaking of towels, this was my first experience of microfiber towels.....they are horrible, I felt I was trying to dry myself with Grandmas Velvet curtains! The flooring throughout, had the look of glue spread on subfloor left to dry and never tiled, consequently very slippery when damp. Our outdoor area under the fig tree was delightful, unfortunately the gravel/sand surface found its way into every corner of the room. A proper step up into the accommodation was lacking, some rectangles of unidentifiable plastic material stacked loosely, a tripping hazard on the way in and out. Insect screens on the windows would have been enjoyable to. We did not have an opportunity to examine the other accommodations on the property so this review is for one facilty only.

15 minute walk to town. There are bicycles to use. No screens on the windows to keep bugs out. No laundry on site.
