Accommodation was warm and heating was on upon arrival.
Fantastic amount of appliances - washing machine, ironing board and hoover, also some beach toys, although we didn't need to use any of it, likewise with the kitchen appliances.
Good amount of storage (incl in bedrooms) and kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven, lots of glasses, plates etc.
Great location with stunning views but noise from the pub (The Ship Inn) may bother some. We had a lovely meal there.
Three CoOps and other small convenience stores and coffee shops in the town. Also a small road train for sightseeing.
There's a small museum and RNLI shop in the bay.
Lots for families to do in the town - pitch and putt, leisure centre, outdoor pool, tennis courts, large playgrounds.
Dunattor Castle 10 min drive away.
25 mins drive is Hazlewood Park in Aberdeen - Great cafe and large recently refurbed play area, free parking.
Would have been helpful to have a travel cot as opposed to needing to bring our own, there was room under the stairs to store one.
Would also benefit from a stair gate given the two sets of stairs.
The front door was very hard to lock. We had to slam it hard to get it to lock everytime and took numerous attempts each time.
There are large areas of mould/damp around some of the windows and front door.
When we arrived there was a loo roll in each bathroom but with only a few sheets on, meaning we had to head out and buy some straight away. Would have expected a full roll, or just not to have any at all.
The noise from the pub may bother some. People stand under the bedroom window chatting and having a drink and the noise from pub bins being emptied out the back.
Wifi was almost non existent which impacted use of our mobiles and being able to use the TVs.
A couple of the windows didn't open. Would have been helpful to have a small bin or two in the bedrooms/bathrooms.

Es gab ausreichend Schlafräume (wir waren zu fünft) und 2 Badezimmer. Das Wohnzimmer mit der Küche war sehr nett, großes TV Bildschirm mit viel Programm-Auswahl. Außergewöhnlich war die Lage, vom Esstisch konnte man die Bucht und Aussicht bewundern. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und genügend Geschirr vorhanden. Ebenso steht eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner-Funktion zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation zum Vermieter verlief bestens (falls Bedarf besteht).

Fantastic location at the charming Harbour. Perfect to hike to Dunnottar castle or to walk the path in direction of the open air swimming pool.
It can be a bit noisy in the evening due to the people outside the bar next door. The window in the main bedroom does not seem to close that well. But it means we had great weather, otherwise people would be inside, so not really disturbing.

Location, location, location! Wonderful views with immediate access to the harbour, beach walk into Stonehaven, lovely cliff walk to Dunottar Castle, close to multiple cafes and pubs with good beer and easy parking.
A clean and well appointed property with lovely living room and kitchen and comfortable beds. Having the two bathrooms was also great for our group consisting of two adult couples, 18 year old, 7 year old and a baby.
The restricted head height due to the sloping roof in the upper bedrooms especially when occupied by an adult couple. Having the bed centred in the room would have been helpful.
