The warmth of the owner and staff. Location was right on the Camino and down the street from the pilgrim office. Lovely garden to mentally prepare yourself for a days in the high Pyrenees. Clean beds and baths. Dinner was enjoyable with amazing company, laughter, and good basque food and wine. Buen Camino!
Never enough hooks in the alberques. 😉
