The Coverpage Stays at Bataghat was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. The views from the property are simply amazing, especially waking up to the mountains and beautiful forest right outside the window. The location is peaceful, scenic, and perfect if you want to get away from the usual chaos.
What really made the stay special, though, were the people. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, and they made the whole experience feel genuinely welcoming rather than just being another hotel stay.
The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was lovely, and that view… honestly, I could have spent the entire day just sitting by the window doing absolutely nothing, which is basically the highest compliment I can give a hotel.
Amazing views, lovely people, great atmosphere, and a genuinely memorable stay. Would absolutely recommend The Coverpage Stays at Bataghat and would happily stay here again! ❤️🌲⛰️

Sushil Ji and his wife were incredible hosts. They met every request with promptness and cheer.
The view was stunning.
The room was clean and cute. The loft bed was exciting!
The hikes next door in Jabarkhet were worth the whole visit!
The remote location lends itself to peaceful, slow-paced days.
Food: Expect a long wait, but we'd highly recommend the pancakes, pizza, omelets, dal makni, and pahadi breakfast.
Don't expect a quick morning if you get breakfast at Mudcup.
Breakfast is handled by a partner business, The Mudcup cafe. Though buffet timing is listed as 8:30-11, We never saw food before 9:30. Once the meal finished arriving at 11:10. The view, the food, and the staff were wonderful, but expect a very long wait, even if you delay arriving. It's also overpriced, especially considering a neighboring cafe delivers many of the same items in a fraction of the time for half the price.
Be careful of traveling on Saturday or Sunday after 8am. Expect to sit in a jam for an hour or so near Mussoorie.

The location was amazing. The breakfast was the best we've had in a long time.
Honestly there was nothing more we'd ask for. Possibly some kind of transportation options (like scooty rental) could be an asset for people to stay a little longer

Breakfast and other meals were excellent. The location is very good and staff is extremely polite and helpful.
Room alloted to me was small and the bed was very small (for a six ft height). All rooms are of varying sizes. The photos do not give a real feel of the room.
