The overall experience was really great. Vangelis (the host) met us personally, showed and explained everything about the house and handed off the keys.
The villa was fully renovated, clean and had everything a small or mid-size family might need for a long stay: large space, modern and fully equipped kitchen, big refrigerator, air conditioning, washing machine, drying rack, and more. The internet was also available, although the speed was pretty low, so it would be impossible for remote work, or anything heavier than messaging app.
Villa had nice garden with beautiful olive trees, lawn and the terrace where you can enjoy the piece and quite moment. Ideal place for breakfast or dinner.
The villa is only reachable by car, since it is located in the small village. Without the car it would be impossible to reach out to this place, doing groceries or driving around to see the island. There is free parking spot in the yard, however it is not for a big car: a Citroen C3 would fit fine though.
Separately I would like to describe a hospitality of the host. Vangelis was the one of the best hosts throughout my entire travelling experience. He is very caring, hospitable and kind person, always reachable for any questions, help or suggestions. Upon arrival Vangelis provided us treats so we did not need to go to the supermarket; he took care of anti mosquito solutions (however in September we experienced zero mosquito presence); suggested great places to visit and many more.
So, to summarize, I highly recommend the villa to stay and will definitely return back in future.
