I am so glad I picked to stay at Casa del Arupo. Their staff is the best especially Jimena. She is so nice, friendly and very helpful. She went far and beyond what a guest could expect from a staff. As far as breakfast is concerned, everyday, I had coffee, bread, fruits, fresh juice and eggs. Nothing fancy but enough for my need to start the day. The location is also safe and has everything you need within walking distance (restaurants, cafes, bars, public transporation etc). The internet is also fast. The room is clean. Highly recommend!
This does not take away any points from my overall review since this didn't constitute any negative experience for me but may be useful information to others. The location is a few blocks away from where the nightlife is. The street itself where Casa del Arupo is very quiet but noise travels especially during the weekend so keep that in mind. The room also does not have air conditioning which is not necessary given Quito's cool weather especially in August.
