Overall, the apartment is quite nice, within a reasonable distance of Lake Mergozzo, although it's a bit of a walk (about an hour to La Quartina beach).
We noticed a few minor and major shortcomings that could be improved.
The lack of WiFi despite the internet connection (TV) is a real bummer these days.
The lack of air conditioning was very bothersome, and with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius (especially in the attic bedroom) and hordes of biting, hungry mosquitoes, it was difficult to sleep.
There were no shelves for toiletries (under the sink was unusable) or towel racks in the bathroom, no kettle in the kitchen (there's only a drip coffee machine), a large wardrobe in the bedroom filled with spare duvets (not for guest use), a somewhat limited supply of dishes and kitchen utensils (for example, no cutting board), and the ordered bedding for everyone – these are just a few minor but annoying shortcomings.
