Perfect for large groups, with one lounge area downstairs with two bedrooms and another lounge area upstairs with two more bedrooms, so felt there was plenty of space even with lots of people. Perfect location, amazing views and nice and warm in the middle of winter! Checking in using the code was easy, and was great there was a car park!
The only negative would be the price, but we were staying during peak season so that is the same wherever in Queenstown you go!

The location is excellent - a short flat walk into town. The apartment is large and has a great view.
The apartment is unrenovated and probably around 20 years old but very well kept and clean.
It is across two levels - it is 3 hotel rooms/apartments that interconnect which makes it perfect for multiple families but not as good if you have young kids. The heating is awesome and we were snug the whole time. The kitchen has adequate supplies and we could easily cook without feeling like anything was missing.
The apartment is in a large complex which is part of the Peppers hotel which is probably about 30 years old. The apartment is well kept but original and there are little things that could be improved with a renovation (sink waste not draining properly) all minor though.
The apartment has 2 car spaces but you can't really fit two cars in them (we had rented 4WD for the snow which didn't help). They are part of a row of three car spaces and they are quite narrow so the third car (from another apartment) was always parked over the line.

Location was great and views lovely.
Noise, plus aircon leaked in one room so was a constant drip. For a Penthouse it wasn't worth the money. When we booked, we were supposed to receive a bottle of wine and didn't. Knowing we were there for my daughter's wedding would have been a nice gesture anyway.
