Comfortable cottage, good facilities. Lovely location in a very pretty Cotswold village. Great to have parking on-site.
Some instructions for how to use the oven and hob would be useful.

We were five (4 adults, one child). The location was great, easy to find, the parking space was excellent (and wide), and the lockbox that housed the key was located within close proximity to the door - entry to the property was seamless. Host communication was impeccable and the property itself was in the main, clean, and all the facilities (kitchen, oven, microwave, dishwasher) worked. There was a television with access to all the usual array of applications (BBC iPlayer as well as Netflix). The host left an excellent number of towels for use, and this was much appreciated. The bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs) were clean and the water pressure was excellent. We could easily visit the coffee shop and village shop within 10 mins walking distance (Blockley village) and the surrounding areas were lovely to visit. There were a number of walking trails and we visited during a period of excellent weather and walked an 8km trail that took us from Blockley to Batsford and we passed the Falconry and Arboretum (where there was an excellent cafe with a view). A 10-minute drive took us to the Co-Op and the petrol station. I would definitely recommend for a break.
All in all this was a very good property. It has obviously been a very popular property since the downstairs carpet was well worn and slightly grimy underfoot and could do with a wash. This is my only negative comment.
We have visited many other properties around England and so one can only judge by comparison. This property was the first that we had visited without washing up liquid in the kitchen or kitchen foil (although there were a number of pots and pans and cutlery available for use). In the bathrooms, there was nice hand soap but no shower gel or shampoo. Again, this was the first property where we had not had this supplied. This may well mean that we were spoilt during our previous stays and it may be unreasonable for me to cite this as a 'point'. In any case, I want to end on a positive note and I would recommend this property especially to those with children.

Badgers Den had a lovely comfortable feel. Great location, for visiting.
The Lower Farm Barns site looked lovely and was well maintained, with really useful lighting on footpaths etc
Excellent car park & instructions on finding the property
Stay spoilt by uncared for feel, poor presentation.
Dirty marks on the carpet throughout the downstairs.
Very dirty/unpleasant oven gloves
The crockery is severely chipped, so was unused. Enough white plates etc for the two of us. Not enough cutlery! only 4 knives, would have been difficult for a family to eat together
Disappointing garden, Patio overrun with brambles making it very difficult for the dog, would have been impossible in bare feet/slippers or with children. Didn't mind it needed weeding! One loose, therefore dangerous, step up the garden.

Terrible TV reception that kept crackling, becoming distorted. No ITV & didn't wish to stream programs, but had too in the end
No bin facilities for recycling or food waste, or explanation of facilities available at bin store
