Great service; baby friendly (they helped us with everything including boiling baby’s utensils, preparing baby food at any time etc); helped us book a wonderful safari; gave good advice for touristy destinations; very calm and pleasant stay; a great host
All great

If you are in Ranthambore for the safaris, Vidhus Lado Home is a great option. It is only about 300m to the pick-up/drop-off point for both canter and jeep safaris. This is brilliant especially for the early morning sessions!
Our first room on the top floor was not ideal - rather smelly like a sewer and not really what we booked. However, the hotel management made every effort to give us another room the next day. This was much appreciated!
To sum it up:
+ Great location for safaris
+ spotless clean rooms/bathrooms
+ Good shower!
+ Food was plenty, homecooked and very good (we booked all-inclusive, it is a set vegetarian menu) and if you missed breakfast due to an early safari, you can have it on your return.
+ Nice roof terrace for relaxing
+ Quiet at night for a good nights sleep
+ Garden and pool area well maintained (we didn't make use of it due to the cold weather)
+ Good room size if travelling with lots of luggage like us :-)
- The staff is a bit unexperienced, but as the hotel is rather new, this will hopefully improve
- Be aware: most rooms do not have windows to the outside which means lighting is required all day. It is however ventilated via windows to a shaft leading to the roof.
- All-inclusive does not include drinks at lunch/dinner - not even bottled water (which is quite unusual for AI and we weren't made aware of this until check-out). There are also no choices, set menu only.
- Card payment only possible with a surcharge (but there is an ATM in walking distance if you haven't brought cash). We only learned this on check-in.
