The George & Dragon

Lovely rustic room with extremely comfy bed

The room did get very hot as radiators were on full

Lovely room with everything you need for an overnight stay. We stayed in the Coaching Inn room which is on the first floor. Loved the extra touches like earplugs for traffic noise (didn’t bother us so didnt actually use them) and the room folder giving instructions on the local area including some good dog walking routes. Lovely comfortable bed and we both slept very well. The only downside was the fact the pub didn’t serve food otherwise it probably would have scored a 10. Plenty of food places in local vicinity though and we can recommend the Devonshire just a few yards up the road for food.

The location is central to the village and all the amenities easy walking distance. Once checked in you can come and go to your room no problems with access. The staff have always been friendly and helpful enough.

Can’t be helped with the rooms in a busy pub on the main road. The owners have done their best with double glazed windows rooms themselves have been done to a very high standard. But be prepared for a nosey main road through the village.

Great location and friendly staff. Comfortable room with historic character

It was a stormy night and the pub sign swinging disturbed us a bit, but understand that not much can be done about this. The pub itself did not disturb us.
