Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gemütlich, supersauber und mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Man findet hier einen kompletten Haushalt vor, der sich angenehm von üblichen Ferienwohnungen mit abgezähltem Geschirr und überschaubarer Einrichtung abhebt. Besonders gut gefiel mir die begehbare kleine Kleiderkammer im Schlafzimmer mit genügend und vor allem vernünftigen Kleiderbügeln. Auf der Terrasse gibt es Wäscheleinen im überdachten Bereich, sodass auch die Badesachen einen Platz finden.
Die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr gut, sodass man auch mit der Lage im Dachgeschoss angenehme Temperaturen hat. Das ganze Haus macht einen gepflegten Eindruck.
Ich bin mit der Bahn angereist und habe die Wohnung problemlos gefunden, die sich im Stadtzentrum eine Querstraße vom Hafen entfernt befindet. Wer sein Gepäck nicht tragen möchte, findet am Bahnhof jederzeit ein Taxi. Der Bahnhof ist in 15 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Züge nach Catania und Messina fahren häufig und sind günstig, z.B. Catania 3,90 EUR, Stand Sept.2026. Für einige Tage habe ich bei einem lokalen Unternehmen ein Auto gemietet, um z.B. zur Alcantara-Schlucht und zur Ätna-Besteigung zu fahren, was durch die verkehrsgünstige Lage des Apartments zügig geht. Ich war Mitte September da und habe problemlos einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nähe gefunden.
In unmittelbarer Nähe des Apartments befinden sich Restaurants, Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Obststände und Fischhändler. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten Fußweg erreichbar und bietet auch kostenfreie Duschen.
Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und während der Mietzeit mit der sehr freundlichen und entgegenkommenden Vermieterin verlief reibungslos und sehr herzlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

The apartment was exceptionally well stocked—more than any other apartment I’ve ever stayed in—and it truly exceeded my expectations. It was such a pleasure not to have to worry about all the little things while on vacation.
The pillow were awesome but the bed was a bit too firm for my taste.

Posizione perfetta, vicina al Porto, al mercato del pesce, ai negozi alimentari, supermercato e diversi bar.
Host molto disponibili e premurose.
Appartamento suggestivo, luminoso, molto molto pulito, curato e tenuto bene.
Cucina con tutti gli elettrodomestici a disposizione.
Zona soggiorno molto confortevole con anche un terrazzina abitabile. Bagno spazioso.

I felt at home. It was cozy, quiet and had AC, which helped a lot.
It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator and if you are very tall, some of the A frame areas may be difficult. It was fine for me.
