The location is beautiful and tranquil, so much greenery. Children's play equipment right outside, fairy lights and bunny rabbits, couldn't be better!

The location and cleanliness were perfect, no complaints. The surrounding park was fantastic too, really pretty and private. The layout of the interior was perfect for us and could easily accommodate a full family. 2 bathrooms and a nice big living room too. 2 TVs, free WiFi and an electric fireplace. This was a really really cosy place to stay.
I think for the price, I would have expected a little more, such as hand soap in the toilets or complimentary shampoo or multi-surface cleaner. There were a couple of small issues too, such as a loose slab in the entrance which was a little dangerous, no outside rain shelter, no outdoor lighting so it was pitch black when coming in later on. Finally, I think the usage of the fire pit was costed a little too high for a couple at £40. It would be great for a group splitting the cost but for just the pair of us it was a little too much to afford, especially with the overall cost of the stay.

Very modern, well equipped kitchen.
Booking.com states it includes towels but none were provided. Unclear if this is an error from the owners or Booking.com.

Beautifully presented inside and out quiet location . Had everything you need
Could not get heating to work to dry out wet stuff and wifi is not great but the lodge does state that so we took dvds
