Private special location. Once you arrive at the castle, no need to worry of anything, the great staff will take good care of you and your stay. We stayed for 2 nights, a special thanks to Davide who guided us through out our stay, have excellent knowledge of wine, food and property values, as well as story of the castle. Salvatore, is an excellent chef, person and the beautiful career he had you can definately taste it in the plates, so tasy, elegant and carefully chosen, thank you for having us at your restaurant table who felt just PERFECT! Could not ask for more, room, common spaces are all we wanted for our stay ! Could not reccomend enough, this place has our heart and will definately come back soon. This is a super unique Property. Awesome Italian feel and looks. Very comfy rooms and bed. Suites have a living room, separate bedroom, large room with stand alone tub, and a spacious toilet room with shower. The grounds are immaculate and the views are spectacular. The only negative is the small choice of available food for lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is small and its the same every day. I wish they had a place to get some pizza and pasta. Staff was very polite and attentive. I would stay here again. Loved it!

Amazing - there is simply no words to describe this place.
Everyone working on Castello di Rocka Cilento was extremely polite, professional, but at the same time extremely friendly and helpful. Food can not be described, wine came out from nowhere as the last bottle of a 21 year old wine (will not name it, as we are going to sweep the market).
Add the fact that this building has been completely restored from februar 2016 to june 2022 and millions and millions (euro) has been invested in this very special place, dated back to appr year 900. Completely high-tech and up to date.
We added in another night and it is a must see and must experience. As of pr date, there is only 7 rooms (we stayed in a suite), with another estimated 13 rooms to be completed. It is a perfect place for large gatherings, weddings and so many more possibilities.
There are some minor works going on, mainly outside and not even close to the rooms. That didnt disturb us a bit - and we will for sure return.
What a place! If you can find something to complain of here, we suggest you go on a charter trip. We normally only stay in 5* resorts, and this is by far the best service we have experienced in a long time, from every one of the staff
