The host vanished, the place was filthy, and our trip was ruined — an absolute nightmare from start

Warning: avoid this host at all costs. This was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had on Booking.com in over 8 years. Upon arrival, the apartment was in a completely unacceptable state: dirty, unprepared, clearly not ready to host anyone. We were left standing in the street, confused, stressed, and trying to fix a mess we didn’t create — while our professional schedule was thrown into chaos. What made it even worse? The host responded late, poorly, and then disappeared entirely. No sincere apology, no responsibility, no follow-up — just silence. This is not just poor service — it is total disregard for guests and basic decency. If you value your time, sanity, or self-respect, stay as far away from this listing as possible. Absolutely disgraceful.
