The room was comfortable, set off from the rest of the house with its own entrance. The house was set well back from the road in a small village, with large grounds. In one corner was an aviary with four buzzards. Free-range chickens were in an enclosure, and a greenhouse was under construction. The breakfast was ample and varied, but nothing cooked. For dinner the previous night the owner recommended a funky riverside area of Amiens, but it was so crowded we couldn't find parking and ended up eating pizza in Flesselles' only establishment.
Other than the room, there is no indoor space to read. Outside is small deck with metal chairs and a table.
