The front door card reader sometimes didn't work creating some anxiety that I wouldn't be able to get back into the hotel!

Great stay at Iron32 Hotel. Location is closer to the bridge/river so prime if you are there during the lantern festival. It's on a quiet street but a short walking distance to a few night markets as well as some local restaurants. The staff was very responsive though WhatsApp but is not in house all day. Ins and outs day and nights are easy via key card at the doors. It's very picturesque hotel with a nice lounge/cafe/bar on the bottom and lobby/overlook on the 2nd floor.
Like many hotels in Chaing Mai, this hotel does not have an elevator. I stayed on the roof apartment so 4 sets of stairs but loved the private space on top. But note that it can get hot. But the room has blackout blinds as well as 2 AC units to keep it as cold as you like.

Good location, near Chiangmai Night Bazaar
Staff will not be there all the time, if you need to check in late you will need to let them know early.
Have a “cafe/bar” on their first floor but doesn’t seem to be operating.
