L’emplacement est vraiment magnifique avec une belle petite terrasse située à côté d’une petite rivière. Un excellent grotto est à 2 minutes à pied. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant pour les heures d’arrivée/départ (le système de remise des clés dans une boîte sécurisée est vraiment simple et idéale). Belle décoration et mise à disposition d’une machine à café Nespresso. Propreté impeccable. Seul tout petit bémol : le canapé-lit pourrait être plus confortable.

I read the other reviews and was wondering what they meant by good location. Realised that its good location (or at least to me) meant that it was really accessible from the highway exit and other parts of CH (especially if you are coming from the romandie side via Domodossola), and also easy to access some of the more iconic Ticino attractions (Valle Maggia, Verzasca etc) and the lovely Italian towns nearby. You do have to drive up a steep road to get there, but it's common in TI if you are not staying by the lake and honestly, compared to my last accommodation in Ticino, this one was really easy to drive up to.
The place is quaint and while though small and cosy, it has everything one needs for a stay. It is well-maintained and clean.
Also, this has probably one of the most welcoming and warm hosts I've ever encountered. Nicola provided very detailed and helpful check-in instructions... there was nothing of the usual confusion and deciphering of vague instructions. You can tell Nicola puts a lot of pride into providing a comfortable experience for his guests.
This is no biggie, but it did feel a little cram even though it was just 2 of us. So if you like your accommodation with more breathing and walking space, this one could feel small-ish.

Alles. Die Lage ist super, es gibt sogar Waschmaschine und Tumbler was für Familien mit Kids sicher ein grosser Plus ist! Im gärtli gibt es sogar eine kleine Rutschbahn. Super!

Pittoresco cottage ticinese immerso nel verde e nel silenzio di Arcegno. Il dolce suono del ruscello e la sua frescura accompagneranno le vostre ore rinfrescanti in questo speciale e appartato luogo. Sofa molto comodo, bellissima e grande televisione, aria condizionata, lavatrice,vicinanza di grottino e ristoranti. Ottimo vino d' accoglienza e decorazioni artistiche nella casa. Proprietario super gentile e disponibile, così come il personale di servizio.
Cucina munita solo di stoviglie e pentole basic. Sarebbe stato utile avere un ovetto per fare il the sciolto al mattino, un asciuga-insalata, una grattugia, un piccolo frullino elettrico, uno scola riso, e 4 bicchieri da vino rosso.
Purtroppo non c' erano zanzariere al pianterreno, quindi è necessario munirsi di repellente elettrico. È un alloggio non adatto a persone iper sensibili agli insetti o aracnofobiche.
Pulizia iniziale da rivedere.
Prezzo per una persona sola abbastanza elevato. Il parcheggio davanti al cottage è usufruibile per 2 auto ma solo se sono piccole (2 Fiat 500 per esempio). Lo spazio di manovra per auto grandi (Van) è alquanto ridotto. Va bene per un' auto grande sola, ma si può parcheggiare comodamente gratis a 50 metri dal cottage, in una pratica e spaziosa piazzuola. La casa non è illuminata all'esterno di notte.
