The cottage was absolutely beautiful, comfortable and a lovely place to relax. Alan was a fantastic host and very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Nothing not to like but just to be aware of: the hot tub is an additional cost, so it would be helpful to make this clear when booking and to arrange it with Alan in advance.

Good location, around a 40 minute drive to Alton towers. Cottage is tastefully decorated, slept 4 comfortably with everything we needed. Small garden area, great loft room for kids/teens. We would return.

Great location for wedding venue we were attending.

Hot tub but to cold to use it.
No heating throughout cottage, was informed by owner he had been on holiday ? Wasn’t sure why not working.
Had 2 small heaters supplied but not enough to heat house, owner aware property is a cold house as stated, but hive thermostat did not boost or start heating.
No hot water, shower not warm disappointing as we had to have cold showers in a cold house.
TV hit and miss internet connection not good channel went in frozen mode.
Dishwasher not working very worn inside ? Start button not working.
