The apartment was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area was very quiet, with no traffic noise at all. Having a private parking space behind a gate was a huge plus and made things very convenient, especially when travelling by car.
The owner was very communicative and was waiting for us personally to hand over the keys, which made the arrival smooth and easy.
The historic city center was also within easy reach from the apartment. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to visit the nearby beach, so we can't comment on that.
The main downside is that there is no elevator and the apartment is on the second floor. We were aware of this before booking, so it wasn't a surprise, but it is definitely something to keep in mind if you're travelling with heavy luggage or have difficulty with stairs.
The city itself was extremely crowded during our visit, and although this has nothing to do with the accommodation, it would probably make us think twice about returning to the area.
