the apartment was absolutely filthy

Communication with the host was very pleasant. We received quick replies and all the necessary information. The apartment is spacious and bright, and the location is very good.

Unfortunately, the apartment was absolutely filthy. I travel a lot, but I have never experienced anything like this before. It felt as if the apartment had not been cleaned at all. Dirt was everywhere, with other people's hair all over the place. The tables were dirty and sticky. The shower cabin was extremely dirty and full of hair. The towels were not fresh and also had hair on them. We tried to take off our shoes, but it was impossible to stay inside without them. The kitchen sponges were greasy and old. After a long flight, we were really looking forward to taking a shower and resting on clean bedding, but we couldn't even take off our shoes. It was extremely unpleasant and disgusting. What makes this even more surprising is that a woman was waiting for us in the apartment to hand over the keys and check us in. It's hard to believe she didn't notice the level of dirt. During check-in, she even showed us where the mop and cleaning cloth were kept - which was simply ridiculous. Additionally, the apartment needs renovation, as many things are broken.
