About this house rental
As soon as you pass through the gate, Provence offers itself to you with a beautiful olive grove and the bowling green where you can play petanque in the shade of the pine trees.
The house, a bastide from Aix, dominates the 7000m2 garden, where grassy areas and a park with various species are mixed. Thus, next to a small pond, you will benefit from the freshness of a hundred-year-old lime tree and a huge oak tree.
The swimming pool (15m*7m) and the pool house are located on a lower terrace. Their area is fenced and surrounded by vegetation; you can enjoy the joys of swimming or laze on the beaches in the shade of the parasols.
The house of about 275m2 opens widely onto the garden with 2 terraces. You can have lunch outside in the shade of the reeds and the vine or inside in the dining room or the summer kitchen. The large, bright living room will welcome you for a TV break, unless you prefer the cocooning of the winter lounge.
Upstairs, 3 bedrooms with double beds (160), each with its dressing room and bathroom (bath or walk-in shower) as well as an office that can be used as a bedroom. Adjoining the main body of the bastide, a 45m2 apartment with living room, bedroom (double bed 140), kitchen and bathroom (shower), WC, is perfect for a more independent couple.
The house and the garden reserve both corners of privacy and tranquility and vast spaces for conviviality.
WIFI is accessible throughout the house and the apartment.
Even if the idyllic setting does not necessarily encourage you to travel, you are only 30-40 minutes from Aix, Marseille, Cassis. Marseille its picturesque districts, its Old Port and its Bonne Mère, its exceptional harbour which will host the sailing events of the Olympic Games, Aix en Provence, its markets, its museums and festivals, the Sainte Victoire, the Sainte Baume, Cassis with the sea and its exceptional creeks. And less than 1h30 away, the Luberon and the piano festival of La Roque d'Anthéron, the light quarries in Les Baux de Provence.
If you are music lovers and wine lovers, you can go to the concerts of the Musicales dans les Vignes during the beautiful summer evenings and discover beautiful wine estates and their castle.
Shops, banks and pharmacies are located less than 5 km away, in the villages of Saint Zacharie and Auriol. Finally, for golfers, the Gulf of Sainte Baume, one of the most beautiful in the area, is 10km away.
