Super friendly and helpful host. He actually managed for me to identify and get hold of my local tour operator (I had booked - and paid - for a 3day treck, and never heard anything back through none of the seemingly fake communication channels , so when I had arrived in Douz I had already given up on the money and the plan - but with Hassen’s support it all miraculously worked out perfectly after all!). He also helped other guests to connect with appropriate tour operators to get what they exactly wanted. The rooftop terrace is also nicely decorated.
My room (fan only) gets the full sun throughout the day, so at night is still feels like an oven. I guess all the AC rooms are ok though.

Nice host, we had our own bathroom.
The water was not working at all, AC suddenly stopped working in the noon (it was solved quickly).
