Excellent hospitality

Very good facilities, good private parking and friendly host.

What a great find! Lovely host. Comfy bed. Love the retro theme. Very clean and very well equipped. Great value for money. So much better than a soul less hotel. We will book again for sure.

Really cannot say anything negative

Perfect little place to stay if you're in the area or passing through. I was travelling by bicycle and the host arranged secure storage in a locked workshop and even provided some items for bike maintenance. Nothing was too much trouble. The room is very well laid out and is very much a homage to the 80's with some lovely items to read and admire. Comfortable, clean and well appointed with cooking items. The crumpets and other items left out are a perfect bonus (and lovely for breakfast). Nice garden to sit in the sun in the evening.

I can't begin to explain how fabulous this place is! The memorabilia, the games, the most comfortable bed, the cleanliness, the perfect location and surrounding area (the walk by the canal is beautiful) and the fantastic snacks left by Paul just made this weekend absolutely incredible! I booked this as part of my husbands birthday weekend as we were also visiting West Midlands Safari Park but honestly, this cottage was the absolute highlight! We spent hours playing the retro video games and just had the best time! You have created something absolutely incredible Paul!

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever, you literally cannot fault this place!
