We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Rosamaria! The house is beautifully situated with a breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius and a glimpse of the sea. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The inner courtyard was a true highlight—perfect for unwinding, sunbathing in privacy on the loungers, or even dozing off in the hammock. There’s also an outdoor shower, which was incredibly convenient.
In the evenings, we enjoyed using the barbecue in the courtyard—especially since there’s an excellent fish shop just a 10-minute drive away.
A special thank you to Stefano, who is a super host! He gave us a warm welcome, helped us with any questions during our stay, and made the check-out process smooth and easy. With him around, you won’t have to worry about a thing.
The location is ideal for exploring the area by car—you’re perfectly positioned to discover the beauty of both the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts. Pompeii and Naples are also within easy reach.
A special recommendation – Lido Marinella beach. It's truly a gem of the coast! It has unique black volcanic sand. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, there is a café, and it's not too crowded. However, during high season on weekends, I recommend booking online 3–4 days in advance.
Highly recommended for families or groups looking for comfort, privacy, and a great base to explore Campania! We would love to come back.

Schöne Aufteilung und toller Garten mit mehreren Terrassen. Super Blick auf den Vesuv. Parkplatz direkt am Haus.
Man braucht auf jeden Fall für alles ein Auto (allerdings ist in der gesamten Region das Parken eher problematisch).

Beautiful setting and good location for exploring Pompeii, Amalfi coast towns and other smaller towns close by. The local grocer was very good and it felt like we were 'living' in Italy 😁Also having parking was a real plus.
Although we liked being away from the bustle of a city, we wish we could have walked to a restaurant. Still, we would stay there again because of comfortable we felt.
