Good location, bad host

What we liked most was the location, as it was close to cafes, shops, free parking, and Energylandia. The apartment was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and it stayed pleasantly cool on hot days. There was also access from the garden side with the option to leave the car inside for an additional fee (but actually you could leave the car just in front of the house before entering the garden).

The first issue was zero communication with the host. We travel a lot, but in my entire life this was the first host I could reach only one or two hours before arrival. How would you feel at 22 PM driving to an unfamiliar city with a small child, and the host hasn’t sent you a single message? I had to write on Booking (no reply), then send SMS. Only when I finally wrote in Polish did they respond — thankfully — telling us which side to enter from and that parking was paid (which was not true, since there is a large free parking lot 5 minutes away on foot, and in general you can park anywhere for free). When we arrived late and tired, the host started explaining in unclear Polish about taxes, parking, and the fact that we hadn’t listed a child in the reservation. Why couldn’t this information have been shared in advance, or at least written on a note in English? At 23.30 PM we had to first figure out what she was saying, then search our pockets for cash for the tax and extra fee for the child (yes, that was our mistake — we didn’t include the child, since in our experience kids under 3 are often not counted as adults, and we brought our own crib anyway). It was uncomfortable knowing the host lived nearby — we didn’t feel at ease. Neighbours were heard as well. For two nights and four people, only two towels were provided — is that normal? The kettle was very dirty, we didn’t even want to use it. Overall it was okay, but you really need to clarify everything with the host in advance.

Masakra

Nic

Pościel pozostawiała wiele do życzenia. Zapach stęchlizny wywołany wilgocią(część "apartamentu" znajdowała się w piwnicy). Dużo pająków. Wanna to jakiś żart.
