A beautiful house in a lovely, peaceful location in the heart of the Lot valley. Generously furnished and sensibly equipped we had everything we needed for a super week's holiday. The main living space is very large with an excellent kitchen area leading onto a dining space with lovely table and chairs. This then goes on to a large sitting space and finally a tv area with excellent TV. All in an exceptionally characterful, high ceilinged space with a number of lovely, colourful finishes. The bedrooms are in the tower, with one smaller double bedroom with ensuite shower room at the bottom of the tower and then a large double with ensuite shower room and great views out at the top and the twin going off across a bit of the roof space of the main building with an ensuite with bath. Lots of towels, toilet paper, cleaning materials, everything you needed. The outside space is exceptional, large gardens with a lovely terrace for leisurely lunches with a bottle of local wine, leading down to the large, clean swimming pool and then going out into their woods. Plenty of parking and just 5 minutes down to Puy'L'Eveque with plenty of local services and an excellent tourist information with regular wine tasting from local producers. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, making excellent recommendations for places to visit and very quickly fixing the wifi. We loved the Lot valley set in hills with delightful villages, great local markets and small wine producers. Overall, a superb property, amazing value in a great location with lovely hosts, we couldn't have asked for more.
