Classic country accommodations in a perfectly gorgeous location near the Lilienstein mountain. You can also walk down the hill to the Elbe and access the ferry and regional trains to easily visit other locations in the beautiful national park. Outdoor restaurant provides simple, hearty food with an amazing view of Koenigstein Castle.

To start with, we don’t speak German. They had employees who spoke enough English to get us through everything.
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh breads with jams and butter, cereals, bacon, eggs and more. My wife loved the hard boiled eggs. My picky kids had seconds.
We also had dinner here. The Spaghetti Bolognase was better than Buca. The Wurst were tasty and well prepared. The other dish was excellent as well. (Can’t remember what it was called.)
Our room had a view of the river valley and Konigstein Castle.
It was close enough to Bastei for us, we drove.

A nice room in a nice hotel that is pretty remote, a long drive to get back down to Bad Schandau, however you stay there for the view which was pretty damn good. Really nice breakfast and really nice staff
