The location of this property was good, a 10 minute walk to the wharf and a bit less to four mile beach.
The layout of the apartment was fine but it fell very short on furnishings.
The couch was very dirty and needs changing, no coffee table and the main small dining table was wobbly. The TV was OK but only small. The lighting was pretty terrible with only old fashioned yellow light bulbs in art deco glass covers. No updated down lighting had been installed which should have been done well and truly by now. I found it hard to even read in the poor lighting.
The bed was fine and comfortable enough.
The parking underneath the building was adequate.
So generally, the unit needs a refresh and update and does not currently meet the expectation of a stay in a place like Port Douglas.

Good central location to beach and town. Room was mostly clean. Motel was set back from road and so was quiet and comfortable, with nice frontal landscaping. Good motion sensitive lighting in basement car park. Good balcony for casual breakfast.
However, in our unit there was an issue with top corner of glass shower door catching on the glass frame which presented increased risk of chipping and shattering when used?
Motel is set back from road and could use improved illumination & larger signage for clients, when returning at night. Pool was cloudy.
