Very nice and comfortable

Traveled with 2 young children- an ideal place to stay. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Being in the middle of Nailsworth was handy with shops etc, but lovely and quiet in the property Suited to explore the Cotswolds!

This is the second time we've stayed here. These are modernizations done the modern way, with beautiful finishes and large spaces and excellent kitchens and appliances. You can see some pictures of what they had to start with - pretty much only the stone walls with no roof and no floors, so though there was not internal old character that could have been preserved, so there was no reason it shouldn't be ultra modern. And it's very well maintained inside and out. Anything is a bit of a quibble - there aren't many plates or glasses and not much cutlery, the kitchen contents don't really match up to the beautiful kitchen itself, with many of the smooth drawers opening quietly to reveal... nothing. The location is brilliant, quiet, but a five minute walk to bakeries, pubs, a Morrisons and anything else you could expect in a good village. There are other places in Nailsworth that I'd stay for the character, like the Amberley up on the common, but in town this would always be my first choice if I could afford it, and if it was available. But it is expensive, and not often available...
