I enjoyed the property and I would stay again, but I think it's important to note that if you check-in on the weekends, there's nobody to assist you. So we arrived at 10 AM on a Sunday and our check-in wasn't until 4, but we figured we could at least go to the facility and see if the room was available for an early check. And unfortunately, there is nobody to talk to when you book through Maui banion, so I kept calling. And calling, but their clothes on the weekend. So there is nobody to speak to when I finally got an after hours person. They told me that my code just becomes active at 4 PM, even though the room had been available all day, there was No way for me to get in so my family and I sat at the pool for almost 6 hours until we could get in, because we had all of our luggage and groceries.So that was definitely an inconvenience, and if I had known that before beforehand I could have changed a few things in terms of the bathroom, we hated the showers.The there's a door so water just comes out.So our floors were always soaking wet, and we would have to run through so many towels to keep the floor dry.So that was pretty frustrating.The location of the of the condo is great.It's beautiful, it fit our family.Well, I would still stay there again.Given what I know, but I think it's important for families to know about the timing.And the way the shower situation works

We met a lot of great people during our stay at Maui Banyan. It has timeshare holders, so a LOT of yearly repeat visitors. And no, it wasn’t even mentioned for us to buy, I don’t think they do it anymore.
We only ever had 2 issues- one was an incorrect door lock code when we arrived, and one was being unable to get the air conditioning working in one bedroom. Both times management was able to help immediately. Things can always go wrong, but it how they handle it that matters, and they were fabulous.
Our unit and hallways/ stairwells are a little dated, but decently clean. There were maintenance grounds workers every single day, and lovely to chat with.
Our unit had absolutely everything we needed for our 2 week stay, and plenty of space for groceries and consumables.
Never an issue to get pool loungers, even under umbrellas. BBQ grills are almost brand new, in the pool area, it was great to be able to make dinner.
Loved the walkability and proximity to the highway. Kam 2 beach was immediately across the street, many beaches within a few minute drive if you are so inclined to go to as many as possible. Fred’s restaurant has always been one our favorites and it is right beside the condo.

Room was ok. I’ll start with the negatives. No table to eat at. There was only 1 chair on the patio. Would’ve been nice to at least have a bistro set out there. The beach umbrella was broken. No broom and dust pan to sweep the floor. No room to really prepare food and only the sink in the bathroom to wash the dishes. The positives were it’s a great location, close to the beach and some local restaurants and shopping. The grounds are well looked after. The pool area was good which had community BBQs. Price was good. I would stay here again as long as the price doesn’t increase.
