TV in the living room with satellite dish for German and international channels. Canal Digital. Nice terrace with garden furniture and a great view of the fjord. A larger terrace faces west. Shed with freezer as well as plenty of space for fishing equipment and life jackets. On the lower side of the terrace, there is a path down to a private quay with floating jetty and covered mooring area 90 m from the holiday house. The area has a bustling wildlife of seabirds and the occasional sea eagle, otters and porpoises. If you're lucky, you might even see a minke whale. Beach at Sande 15 min drive away. Great opportunities for mountain hilking, i.a. to Midtbøfjellet on Ånneland, Vestre- and Tjørefjellet (from 194 -240 m.a.s.l.). About 8.2 km to the village of Byrknes with grocery store and service offers. If you want to visit a big city, Bergen is 1.5 hours away. Lots of fishing opportunities in lakes nearby, remember to purchase a fishing license. Boat for rent: JaMarin 15 foot with 50 HP, GPS/chart plotter/sonar. The boat is located at the floating jetty 90 m from the holiday home.
