It was my second time staying here, the first time was on 2019. The old lady boss and the other elderly male boss are very hospitable and will go out of their way to help you even though the lady speaks minimal English. The male boss speaks a bit of English. The room temperature could be adjusted down to 16C for the air conditioning which I slept soundly, for me I prefer it in the coldest setting. There was even a bolster in the private room which is a rarity for me- absolutely amazing and comfortable! The toilet has shampoo and soap and there was hot water in the shower. When I checked into my room there was a huge gecko in my room and I have a fear of these pests. The elderly lady stood on the chair sprayed it with pesticide and killed it and disposed of it for me! This was above and beyond of what I’d expect. There is a living area with a fridge to store food, wsshing machine and smoking area too. Very comfortable. Wuen I left I gave the old man some money as he helped me by giving me a ride to the train station instead of walking. The location is convenient, the night market is a 10 minute walk same as the train station and it was very convenient if you have an early morning train. 120 baht by grab car if you are coming from terminal 2.

- good location, not too far from the train and close to temple/museum
- friendly owner and sweet dog
- No English spoken, but we figured it out anyways
- hardly anyone staying at the hostel! But that’s mostly because of the town, it’s just not on people’s list I guess.
- I got a message after booking saying I should pay online, now as a foreigner you can just bring cash, but that’s a bit confusing

We had a great stay at Nap Corner Hostel. The location is great for visiting Sukhothai Historical Park. Our room was perfect. We appreciated being able to use the facilities to do laundry. It's a great hostel that's really well managed by the owner Ton and his lovely aunt. Thank you for a great stay.
