The apartment is located just next to the port, within walking distance to the historic center and the beach, which matters if you don't have a car or don't want to use it. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive. A microwave oven and a washing machine were added at the beginning of my stay, so we had everything we needed to handle frequent beach visits with kids. One of the rooms has air conditioning, and it works fine. There is always some room to park your car in front of the building. The available TV channels are mostly in Italian, but I turned the TV on just once and out of curiosity -- you don't go to Sicily to watch TV. The WiFi works flawlessly, so, if at all, you will be watching YouTube/Netflix anyway if you bring your laptop.
The electric current limit assigned to that apartment is insufficient and should be bumped up. You can't use the air conditioning, the washing machine, or the kettle at the same time, or the circuit breaker trips on overload. Trivial to fix, as the box is just next to the entry, but really annoying and requires some discipline in scheduling your tasks. This is the only issue that comes to mind.

Perfect location, close to city centre, many bars around for nice breakfast. Staff was very nice. The whole apartament is very big, perfect for 2 couples with 2 bathrooms.
It was very noisy, because of the busy street. Also someone put toilet cleaner in the bottle for dish soap.

The accomodation was what we expected- it looked like shown on the pictures. The bedroom was big, the private bathroom was clean and smelled nicely- bear in mind that the bathroom is not directly connected to the bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were also beach umbrellas that we could take to the beach, which was very nice. Overall it was worth the price we paid.
