Listing said check-in at 3pm in one section, but that check-in ends at 4pm in another section; once booked, it said we'd be emailed details nearer the time. The only email we received, less than 48 hours before our stay, said that now was a great time to reach out and say hi to our hosts. We were in transit up to Scotland so it wasn't convenient. Around lunchtime on the day of our stay, having received no further information, we tried calling the number provided. No answer. We left a message. No-one called back. So we emailed, asking what we needed to know about check-in. The reply said only that the lodge would be available "from 4pm", not until 4pm, so we went for dinner. We arrived at the site, Torvean Caravan Park, at 6.40pm. There was no-one at reception. There was a sign on the door describing us as "late arrivals", stating only that our lodge was lodge 7. There was a combination keysafe. We did not know the combination. We phoned the out-of-hours number. No answer. We left a message. Days later, I still haven't had a reply! Luckily, another guest helped us work out the code, and we got into our lodge, not that our "host" would have any idea! We didn't see a single member of staff until we left, two days later. Lodge was comfortable but awkward; optimised for space efficiency rather than guest convenience. One of the beds was up a ladder and had restricted headroom, the other was a murphy bed. Wifi code for our lodge was not provided; camping wifi barely reached us.

It was wonderful and easy to have a laundry to use. There was a little takeout restaurant with good food. We stayed in a little house. So cute. Had tv with wifi and Netflix etc.
