A great oceanfront home with a swimming pool! Definitely one of the best in the area. It stands out for its unique design—a tropical, Brazilian modernism. The building has a curved concrete roof resembling a ship's bridge facing the horizon. The ground floor (the living room with an open-plan kitchen) is wrapped entirely by glass walls and sliding doors. Inside, a unique staircase illuminated by a skylight in the roof. There are two master bedrooms with a large balcony and hammocks (four bedrooms in total). A wooden front deck gives plenty of privacy—it is the only property of its kind in the neighborhood. The house is perfect for…. a couple 😉☺️ looking to spend three weeks with dolce far niente
The sandy beaches totally empty; Brazilians only visit them on weekends. Very local vibe—no international tourists and very safe. In a walking distance (400 m) to the right delicious food (fish, shrimps, and lobsters with fresh served with chilled coconuts. Everything is served at local beach bars known *barracas* (Barraca Atlantica or Estrella de Davi).
Take your running shoes and run on the beach: Maxaranguape village 4 km to the left, famous Jacuma Beach and Pitangui dunes 6 km to the right. Don’t be surprised if pickups or buggies pass you while you’re running—Brazilians love driving on the beach at low tide 😉
Rent a car (Localiza) and go every morning to the local restaurant Renascer in Muriu for (*café da manhã*.) Although the house has a fully equipped kitchen, we decided to cook nothing but the morning coffee in a moka pot 😉
Joao regularly takes care of the pool and garden.
The owner, Dani, stays in constant contact with guests, even when she isn't there in person and checks to make sure everything is okay and sees if there are any additional needs.
We absolutely loved this house! ☺️🏖️☀️⛱️ and that view... 🏝️🏝️🏝️
