The rooms are in a very convenient location and perfect for a solo traveller looking to explore Airlie and the surroundings on a strict budget.

The sheets and pillows on unused beds need to be changed more regularly, the bunk above mine looked mouldy but my bed was ok. Also, the walls need a clean.

Incheckning rutiner kunde bli bättre . Man borde säga att ringa in på mobilen för någon att komma och checka dig i.

Turned up and it looked like people were living there full time. Clothes everywhere, tobacco scattered across the table and floor, bathroom floor was a mess, kitchen was written off with dishes from 1 light year ago. Worst of all, x2 of us were looking for our specified beds and all looked slept in! Stains on the sheets/ missing pillows, called the manager and threatened leaving. He sorted it promptly but had all day to do so prior to our arrival. I’m not expecting a five star accommodation for $30 a night but I expect a clean bed without suss bodily fluid everywhere.. Bins outside over filled and stunk, no one to check us in so had to call about 15 times and finally got an answer. Overall I wish we’d paid a little more and booked Nomads, but hey ho. Once the bed situation was sorted, it wasn’t actually a bad stay, hence my mixed ratings of ‘passable’ etc. We came back as it should’ve been originally, clean, well done beds, a full room clear out and the place actually looked decent. Just work on making it clean for guests before they arrive, it’s a bad look. It’s not like we checked in early.
