Mika is incredible. You'll find a friend not a host.Breakfast is plenty, sweet and savory, and Mika will sit by you,asking if you need some help whatever it might be, So,when we told him of our wish visiting Tallinn on sunday,he warned us about the scheduled timetable of public trasportation, early morning by his car drived us to the ferry terminal, waited us in the evening to back home! The room is clean and also in summer you don't need air conditioning, you are in Finland. Public trasportation from the airport will get you a hundred meters from the house, and to the centre of helsinki you'll find bus + metro easy to catch from the house. Ciao Mika!
Nothing. Public transportation in Helsinki is quick and easy to understand. The tram net, you can download a map from internet, may be the best way to visit the city. Helsinki is a quiet and clean city, and anybody you meet he speacks english very well and is happy to help you. The way of life is much more expensive than Italy is, and if i can I give you a tip: if you want finnish dishes you' better go straight to the market or stalls along the harbour, they serve finnish street food at reasonable prices.Something incredibly surprising:without a card you don't go anywhere, and the tranportation tickets have QR code to be validated not in the front but in the rearfront!

Mika was an amazing host. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of Finnish style foods that we enjoyed each morning and was served whenever we asked. He was attentive to all of our preferences. Our bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed spending the evening on the deck outside of our bedroom. We were pampered for our whole visit.
We cannot think of anything that wasn't perfect.

I spend 40% of my life travelling, mostly for business but it was a vacation stay. And I think it's the first 10-star booking opinion I am writing. It's an exceptional place, not for everyone as the landlord is living in the same building (different floor though). But this is what I loved the most - slow mornings spent on conversations with Mika who is clever, open, not judgemental and knowledgeble person. Apartment was really clean, spacious and very well equipped (bed is out of this world:) ). Location perfect for both visiting Helsinki and seeing some nature (15 min from beautiful national park). The house is beautiful and surrounded by trees. Mika was spoiling us with breakfasts that were enough to feed the army:) but also healthy and delicious. Thank you Mika for making our stay in Finland so exceptional!
