Staff were brilliant and accommodating. Upon arrival we we're told that there was a fault in our rooms lighting and offered another room even though it was a busy weekend. Unfortunately, it did not suit due to being a bunk bed. As a compromise, we we're offered the original room at half the rate and a round in the bar whilst we wait for staff to find portable lighting. Nicely located by the river and roman bath a plus.

Hotel could very much do with some TLC. Beautiful building with potential and great location, but numerous scuffs on walls and light fittings hanging off walls left a bad impression.

Staff friendly and efficient

No breakfast available at all even though it was part of the deal no restaurant open at ll so we had to walk a mile into town to get any food. Surprised no attempt to provide food for guests
