A decent place with potential to be very nice, but coming a bit short on quality

Fairly spacious apartment, good location to groceries and fairly quiet

There were lots of little things that made the place unwelcoming: all the doors squeaked (easily fixed eith a bit of oil!), kitchen equipment was very minimal (we had to buy a bread knife and a cooking knife, and could have used an extra dish towel and glove for hot pans), the bathroom had no extra towels, etc. This place could be a lot more welcoming with only a small amount of effort and investmrnt!

Fine place to stay

The apartment is nicely decorated. It is close to the train station. The kitchen has all the facilities you could need. You can park for free in the street.

It was a bit far to the city center (20min walk at least). It was also very hot inside and there was no air conditioning, so much that we couldn’t sleep (it was 25°C outside during the day). The temperature of the shower was impossible to control. We wished there was more cutlery and glasses.

Nice appartment for a short visit to Reims

Good communication with the host (in French, but google translate does the job), access through key locker very easy

Shower not super clean, no dishwasher, a little further from the centre (but therefore comes with free parking)
