Lovely accommodation in a good location with off road parking. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
There was a miscommunication between myself and my colleagues and they stayed 1 extra night. I was not told about this until the day after even though I had contacted the host that day to ask about booking again.
One of the hosts spoke to my colleague on Thursday night and told him that he could not book for less than 3 nights so had to book the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night as well if he wanted to stay on Monday and Tuesday night. Which, at the time, my colleague felt he had no choice but to accept. However, I had messaged the host in the afternoon on Thursday to ask if we could book Monday and Tuesday night and was told yes, they would do it for us on this occasion but nothing was said about my colleagues still being in the accommodation or that they would have to book extra days over the weekend. When I found out about this I called first thing this morning (Friday) and was told that they had someone booked in from Thursday night so had to cancel them as my colleagues were still there (no mention of this was made the night before) so now we would have to pay for the whole weekend, even though we won't be staying there. The host did try to call me but that was at 5.37pm on Thursday night after I had messaged to say I would be leaving the office at 4pm so would see their reply to my request to book Monday and Tuesday night in the morning. The host had sent a reply at 4.18pm with an invoice for Monday and Tuesday night, again with no mention of the overstay.
The host has called me this afternoon, he said that the cleaner did not contact him when they couldn't get in as he was unavailable so he didn't know about it until later but, he has a colleague who I have been dealing with and she didn't say anything about it to me either when she messaged me earlier in the day. He has agreed to send an invoice just for Thursday night but has added a cleaning fee, even though they have not done the clean that was paid in our original booking.
