Booked the house through VRBO, all went well. We got the conformation of the booking. Sitting in the hotel the night before arriving in France and thinking, I haven't seen anything about the entry to the house. Sent a message which was finally answered after an hour saying it was in the welcome email and she supplied the link for the check in. Checked right back through all emails and there was nothing from her. Went on to the link and filled in the info it requested which was a lot. Clicked the validate button and it stayed at waiting on validation for well over an hour. Messaged her again and got told she had validated it, she had. Still had no idea on the entry details which you are supposed to re-click the link again after messaging her again. Turned up at the house and had to fight fast an out of control apple tree to get the key safe. Entered the house and had a look around, the link had a section to upload any pictures of anything wrong, there were a lot. Dining room table gouged, coffee tables scratched, bits of kitchen hang off, damp smell which got worse over the next day which turned out to be a mop which obviously wasn't cleaned properly and that had to be put outside, there is small leak under the kitchen sink which is contributing to the smell, there is a heater in the dining room which has a damaged cable exposed, bathroom sink not very clean and taps rotting away at the base, upstairs in the main room, there was a wall socket hanging out the wall on the cables
